Antagonistic Mechanism of Bacillus subtilis Strain SB-24 on Fusarium oxysporum

In this study,the inhibition of strain SB-24 on the growth of Fusarium oxysporum mycelium and spore,mycelium form of Fusarium oxysporum and its capability of secreting hydrolytic enzymes were examined.The results showed that strain SB-24 inhibited the growth of Fusarium oxysporum mycelium,which was mostly due to the integration of production of antibiotic material and hydrolytic enzymes including proteineous enzyme and cellulase.Antagonistic effect of strain SB-24 on Fusarium oxysporum spores is in nature the production of antibiotic material.
