Abstract
Effect of soil leachates of different crop rotation systems on seed germination in corn, soybean and wheat were tested by filter paper method in this study. The results showed that different responses of crop seeds to the soil leachates from rotation systems occurred. The germination rate of soybean seed was higher (90%) in the soil leachate of Soybean-Wheat-Corn (SWC) rotation system than other rotation systems, and growth vigor was more healthy and stronger (56.7%),it was adverse in soybean continuous cropping for 12 years (S…SS). Corn planted in Corn-Soybean-Corn(CSC) and SWC rotation systems were advantageous to germination and growth vigor. It would be better that wheat seeds were sown in CSC and SWC,but the soil leachates of Wheat-Soybean-Wheat(WSW) and Soybean-Wheat-Soybean (SWS) were not beneficial to germination of wheat seed.
