Abstract:
Dongsheng11, Dongsheng35, and Dongsheng16 are high-yielding soybean varieties approved by Heilongjiang Province in 2024. The three varieties exhibit clear differences in growth period: the growth period of Dongsheng11, Dongsheng35 and Dongsheng16 is 120-day, 115-day and 100-day, respectively. The three varieties are respectively adapted to the second, the third and the sixth accumulated temperature zones in Heilongjiang Province. The analysis of the parental pedigrees of the three varieties reveals that Xiaolidou9 is the maternal ancestor of Dongsheng11 and Dongsheng35, while Silihuang is the maternal ancestor of Dongsheng16. The breeding of these three varieties integrates the genetic information of elite domestic and international germplasm resources, such as Hefeng25 and Tokachi nagaha. Dongsheng16 has the characteristics of high-protein and high-oil content by pyramiding the high-oil genetic loci from Dongnong44 and the high-protein loci from Hai6055. Furthermore, this study identifies the genotype combination of
E1 to
E4, which are key genes involved in photoperiod regulation of flowering time.
E1 to
E4 allele combinations of Dongsheng11, Dongsheng35 and Dongsheng16 are
E1/e2/e3-tr/E4,
e1-as/e2/e3-tr/E4 and
e1-as/e2/e3-tr/E4, respectively. This study elucidates the pedigrees and key genotypes of Dongsheng11, Dongsheng35, and Dongsheng16, and establishes a robust theoretical foundation for utilizing these varieties as elite parents to efficiently breed high-yielding and stable soybean cultivars tailored to diverse agro-ecological zones in Heilongjiang Province through marker-assisted selection.
